I’ve seen this several times this week on the socials.

Someone with 1,000+ followers posts on Threads or IG.

Their post gets 184 views. 7 likes.

Maybe a comment from their Mom.

Or from that weird kid they sat next to in 9th grade Chemistry class 10+ years ago.

Then comes the dramatic announcement…

“What’s even the point anymore?”

“The algorithm hates me.”

“Instagram is dead.”

“I’m done posting.”

I shake my head every damn time.

These platforms are FREE.

They don't owe you a damn thing.

Yet somehow we’ve convinced ourselves that because we spent 11 minutes creating a Reel, Mark Zuckerberg or Elon Musk or whoever owns Tik Tok is contractually obligated to deliver it to 37,431 people.

Wild AF.

And here’s the part nobody wants to hear...

It ain't the algorithm.

Maybe the hook sucked (most likely).

Maybe the content was boring AF.

Maybe your message is confusing.

Maybe it feels/looks too much like AI created it.

Maybe you’ve been posting the same regurgitated shit as everyone else.

Or maybe the post just flopped.

The game is as simple as this: You create, learn and tweak. You get better. You create more.

But bitching about the algorithm or platform without looking inwards is for fools.

You're giving control to something you have zero control over.

Social media doesn't hand out participation trophies.

Instead of saying, "Why bother with Instagram?"

Why not ask yourself, "How could I have made this better?"

Victims (losers) ask the first question.

Winners ask the second question.

Go be a fu*king winner, friend!
